Project Achievements

The current corridor was constrained
between residential community and the
rail line. A newly developed residential
suburb has also increased traffic through
Oonoonba and was negatively impacting
on the community.
The project involves confirming the
current network needs, defining
the staging of the works required to
complete four lanes over the entire link
and developing a concept design and
P90 cost estimate to upgrade each of the
stage of works
Project achievements included the
following:
• Options Analysis & Business Case
• Public Consultation
• Flora & Fauna Management
• Traffic Studies/Signals
• Cultural Heritage Assessment
